Clear Channel 48 Billboard Sheet Makeover
Clear Channel, a UK leader in outdoor advertising, needed to transform the reach and impact of 376 of its large, 48-sheet billboard panels by installing energy supplies and lighting troughs to illuminate each individual panel.
The project
The entire national project was planned, executed and managed by Principle Link.Principle surveyors examined each individual site, providing the documentation, drawings and specifications necessary for installing the Haldo pillars (electrical supply cabinets). Principle submitted all documentation to the electricity suppliers involved and arranged supply start dates.
Following approval of the plans by electricity suppliers, Principle engineers installed the Haldo pillars and fitted lighting troughs to each panel. Then, with the new electricity supply in place, the engineers revisited each site to connect the panels and ensure that the illumination systems were in full working order.
Throughout the project, the Principle team kept in close touch with Clear Channel, regularly updating the client with documentary and photographic evidence of work fulfilled and ensuring that they were pleased with progress at all times.
A shining example
The Principle team completed all work on-time and on-budget and the client was very happy with the project.
